Situated on the hotel’s rooftop, the restaurant offers a panoramic view of the city and its landmark sites, such as the Acropolis, the Kallimarmaro Panathinaic Stadium and the Lycabettus hill. Flavors of Mediterranean cuisine are fused with international flair at Galaxy. Starters include the Aegean seabass marinated in lemon juice and Cretan tsikoudia; a rocket salad with Mykonian kopanisti cheese mousse, fig chutney and roasted hazelnuts and the warm cheese tart with organic truffle honey and peach compote. For the main course, try the fresh tagliolini with “apaki” (which is a traditional smoked pork) buttermilk, organic egg and gruyere cheese made on the Cycladic island of Naxos; the Mediterranean seafood risotto with fish roe powder from Messolongi; the grilled chicken breast with Greek saffron orzo risotto, fried zucchini, cream cheese and sun dried tomato oil; the lamb loin sous vide with tomato relish, zucchini croquette, red pepper mousse and sheep yogurt mint sauce. Marinated Salmon Τhe premium BBQ dishes include the dry aged beef strip loin and the Black Angus rib eye steak and beef fillet. Galaxy’s sushi bar offers unique delicacies, such as the “Dragon Roll” with panko shrimp, avocado, cucumber, fish roe, spicy mayonnaise and teriyaki glaze and the “Surf ‘n’ Turf” with beef fillet, panko shrimp, avocado, cucumber and spicy mayonnaise. New entries include the “Octopus Maki” with octopus, crab, red tobiko, cucumber, avocado and sriracha sauce and the “Scallop Maki” with scallop, cucumber, avocado, carrot, salmon roe and mayonnaise. Octopus Maki Galaxy’s deserts complete the dining experience. The Chef’s suggestions include an alternative “galaktoboureko” with saffron syrup, vanilla ice cream and Greek coffee sauce, a yogurt panna cotta with strawberry soup and an impressive Valrhona white chocolate sphere with chocolate biscuit and passion fruit sorbet.
