The goal of the project, to be completed within the year, is to create a detailed and cost-effective strategy focusing on priority areas including research and evaluation of tourism data, product development, experience planning, promotion and strategic partnerships towards attracting travelers seeking marine recreation experiences to Greece. Destination marketing agency Toposophy has undertaken the project on behalf of the GMA and will proceed with analysis of international and domestic trends and assessment of international competition regulations, hoping in this way to contribute to the promotion of marine tourism as well as boost the country’s tourism product. In this direction, the GMA also plans to participate in international tourism fairs as well as publish a specialized guide.
