Company updates ‘Mr. E’ is the New Entry in Santorini’s Restaurant Scene by GTP editing team 3 July 2017 written by GTP editing team 3 July 2017 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 14 A creative gastronomic experience awaits visitors this summer at Mr. E, a new restaurant entry in Fira on Santorini. Aiming to become the “Eden” of worldwide foodies that visit Santorini in search of new culinary experiences, Mr. E features a menu created by Executive Chef Alexander Tsiotinis and that respects local produce and combines exclusive ingredients from around the world. Influenced by the island’s epicurean tradition, Chef Tsiotinis combines Santorini’s fine, full-bodied produce with fresh fish and crustaceans of the Aegean Sea to fashion a unique culinary experience for the demanding palates of Santorini’s visitors. The new restaurant offers a wine list where wine lovers will be happy to find the renowned Assyrtiko, Athiri, Aedani and more, as well as other Greek and international varieties. “Santorini owes the unique flavors and distinctive aromas of its crops to its volcanic, lava-infused soil. This is also the secret behind its world-class wine varieties, cultivated only on the island,” Mr. E’s management says. The island has not only inspired the chef’s cuisine but also the architecture and overall design of the restaurant, which also offers breathtaking views of the imposing caldera, an ideal background for those searching for a memorable gastronomic experience. Mr. E’s owners Kalia and Antonis Iliopoulos are well-known hoteliers, owners of Mystique and Vedema, who aim to offer exceptional hospitality services to their guests. Mr. E will remain open until October 15. For further information and to make reservations at Mr. E, press here.
