The Panhellenic Union of Employees for the Guarding of Antiquities (PEYFA) demands the payment of overtime work and the hiring of additional personnel. “We demand the regular payment on Sundays and holidays from the Archaeological Receipts Fund and the immediate hiring of 200 permanent guards via the Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection (ASEP),” the guard’s union said in an announcement.
