Electra Hotels & Resorts, a group counting 51 years in hospitality and tourism, was distinguished for its steady growth and innovative business program, during the prestigious “Diamonds of the Greek Economy” event organized by New Times Publishing.

Director of Sales Konstantinos Sdralis received the award during a ceremony held at the Grande Bretagne Hotel in Athens, in the presence of state officials, tourism executives and 500 representatives of the country’s most dynamic business groups.

The annual event honors Greek enterprises and their executives for their excellence in entrepreneurship and their positive prospects, as well as their business plans in dealing with the consequences of the crisis in the Greek economy.

Electra Hotels & Resorts operates under the philosophy of pure Greek hospitality and aims at creating a comfortable environment full of luxurious elements.

During the past five decades, Electra’s hotels have hosted more than 6.5 million discerning travelers in its properties in Thessaloniki, Crete, Rhodes and recently in Athens, at the five-star Electra Metropolis, which opened its doors in December 2016.
