Founded in 2011, “Boroume”, which means “we can” in Greek, operates as a communication hub between food donors and welfare organizations (soup-kitchens, municipal social services) and creates “bridges” between those who have surplus food and wish to donate it and those in need. The collaboration between Princess Tatiana and the Belvedere Mykonos’ restaurant sees part of the proceeds of the summer menu being donated to “Boroume”. More specifically, the guests of ‘Thea Estiatorio”, located in the heart of Mykonos, this season will have the opportunity to taste Greek delicacies inspired by the cookbook of Princess Tatiana, “A Taste of Greece”. This summer’s menu, curated by executive chef Nikos Zervos, includes three signature dishes: A Greek salad gazpacho for starter, fish a la Spetsiota as a main course and for dessert, a Greek coffee ice cream parfait. After moving to Greece in 2013, Princess Tatiana, was deeply fascinated by the importance of food in Greek culture. In “A Taste of Greece”, which was launched a year ago, over 35 renowned personalities from around the world share their favorite local food recipes. According to an announcement, for Tatiana the book is an expression of her love for Greece. Moreover, it is a collaboration of the Princess and Diana Farr-Louis, to support the Boroume NGO. The book is available to purchase at the restaurant and the Belvedere shop. A member of Leading Hotels of World, the Belvedere hotel is located in the heart of Mykonos and provides guests with an exclusive luxury accommodation experience and a breathtaking view to the island’s town and the Aegean sea.
