The restoration work is being carried out under the full responsibility and supervision of the Greek Ministry of Infrastructure. “We must highlight that this solution is temporary,” the Municipality of Kos said in announcement, adding that a comprehensive proposal for a complete revamp of the island’s port infrastructure is underway. Until access to the main port of Kos is reinstated, ferries are making stops at the island’s Kefalos port. Passengers can access the port of Kefalos by using the local KTEL buses.
