During inspections that took place from the beginning of the tourist season to July 15th, SEPE conducted 1,633 checks and discovered that 275 business were violating the labor law and imposed fines worth 1,870,965.43 million euros. “In order to protect the rights of employees in the tourism industry, SEPE will continue to carry out targeted inspections throughout the tourism season,” SEPE said in an announcement “The fight against undeclared employment is a key priority of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Social Solidarity and aims to secure decent working conditions.
