Commercial stores and other businesses will participate in the sales event with special offers, treats and happenings, while the city’s streets will be transformed into a wide pedestrian walkway, the Chamber of Arcadia said in an announcement. Parallel cultural events, including concerts, will take place throughout the evening of August 30 in an effort to entertain residents and visitors. The events are organized by the Municipality of Tripoli, the Chamber of Arcadia, the Peloponnese Tourism Organization, the Arcadia Hotels Association and other local bodies. The Municipality and the Chamber of Arcadia are calling on local enterprises to participate in the “Shock Price” sales event and support the initiative.
