The itineraries of the ferry, “Blue Star Patmos”, which on Wednesday ran aground while entering the port of Ios, are currently operated by the vessel, “Blue Star Naxos”, following the amendment of the company’s routes.

The condition of “Blue Star Patmos” remains stable, all passengers are in good health and have been transferred to their final destinations with the company’s care, Blue Star Ferries said in an announcement.

The company is currently reviewing and evaluating the situation for the safe refloating of the vessel the soonest possible.

The “Blue Star Patmos” was sailing from Piraeus to the islands of Syros, Paros, Naxos, Ios, Santorini and Anafi.
