Photo © Vangelis Patsialos Irish carrier Ryanair on Thursday announced a special ticket price to all customers traveling from Athens to Santorini for the sports tourism event “Santorini Experience” that will take place October 6-8. Ryanair is the event’s Official Airline Partner. According to an announcement, the airline is offering fares starting from just 16.99 euros, which are available for booking until midnight Sunday, September 10. The seat sale concerns fares for flights between Athens and Santorini for journeys to be held from 4 to 11 October. “Santorini Experience is approaching and we are announcing a new offer, encouraging our customers to take part in the ultimate sports challenge… We are very pleased to be the official airline partner of the sports event, while contributing to the extension of the island’s tourism season,” said Dimitra Apatsidou, Ryanair’s Eastern Branch Marketing and Sales Manager. A leading sports tourism event, “Santorini Experience” offers breathtaking views and challenging swimming and running routes. “Santorini Experience continues to innovate and bring Santorini, a worldwide destination of unique beauty, ever closer to the world, on October 6-8,” said Akis Tsolis, CEO of Active Media Group and organizer of “Santorini Experience”. “In Santorini, participants will find unique climate conditions in October, as the temperature reaches 28 °C. Aiming to extend the tourism season and promote Santorini as a destination for 365 days a year, we now have a very important partner: Ryanair,” he added.
