The Travel Bulletin Star Awards recognize, reward and celebrate excellence by acknowledging those suppliers that flourished in 2017 and provided the best products and services possible to UK travel agents. The voting was open exclusively to UK, independent and online travel agents and took place over a six-week period from April 2 to June 2, 2017. Spain topped the list of “Star Destinations for Family Holidays” in the “Dream Destinations” category, while Majorca ranked third followed by Florida, Dubai and Cyprus. Greece had taken the first place during the Star Awards 2016. The winners of the Star Awards 2017 Greece recently received two additional distinctions as a holiday destination by the readers of the UK-based prestigious “Condé Nast Traveller” luxury travel magazine. The Greek islands topped the list of the 20 “Best Islands in the World” in the CNT “Readers’ Travel Awards 2017” and Greece was voted as the second “Best Country in the World”.
