The new 410-room Ikos Kefalos will begin offering five-star services in the spring of 2019. At the same time, the group’s ongoing project, the revamp of the Corfu Chandris and Dassia Chandris into the five-star Ikos Dassia on Corfu is set to operate in May 2018 with a total investment of 110 million euros. On Santorini, meanwhile, Gencom has received the go-ahead from relevant bodies including the archaeology council for the construction of four bi-level accommodation facilities plus pool at the island’s Kamari settlement.
