Public transport will be disrupted in Athens on Thursday, September 21, due to a work stoppage by employees, who are protesting against the “demeaning situation” in the sector.

OASA buses and the ILPAP trolley-buses will not be running between 11 am and 5 pm, while employees will hold a rally at 1 pm outside the Ministry of Transport.

Tram routes to be disrupted on Saturday

Tram routes on the section between Megalou Alexandrou and Panagitsa will be disrupted on Saturday, September 23, between 8 am and 12 pm, due to works to be conducted by the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator.

Commuters are advised to use the X7 Nea Smyrni – Amphithea bus line instead with the same ticket.
