Celestyal Cruises Appoints Andrew Magowan as Vice President Commercial Europe

Celestyal Cruises has appointed Andrew Magowan as the company’s new vice president commercial in the European region.

Andrew will be responsible for the commercial strategy and development of Celestyal Cruises’ presence and sales distribution in the European region, with a specific focus on the UK market.

His appointment is part of an ongoing strategy to grow Celestyal’s presence in the UK and Europe, by strengthening the European sales network, the company said in an announcement.

“Andrew’s experience and in-depth knowledge of the travel industry will further strengthen the Celestyal brand as a cruise operator, which offers immersion in local experiences in both Greece and Cuba,” Celestyal Cruises CEO Kyriakos Anastassiadis said.

“Following growth in the UK and European market, we are delighted to have him on board as part of our expansion and development plans,” he added.

Andrew Magowan joins the company with 25 years of international cruise distribution experience, having previously worked with all major cruise agents, tour operators and trade distribution partners in the industry. He has served as vice president Europe Middle East and Africa for Seabourn and as senior sales and marketing executive in companies within the cruise industry including NCL, Cunard Line, Swan Hellenic and SeaDream.
