Representatives of Kon Tiki – Big Blue, a leading tour operator in Serbia, recently visited the island of Skopelos in the North Sporades, during a familiarization trip hosted by hotel management company Spyrou Philoxenia.

According to Spyrou Philoxenia, Kon Tiki – Big Blue has been established as a leader in outbound tourism to Greece and especially the Sporades.

“Travelers from Serbia have increased during the last few years, as Skopelos is easily accessible, making it easy for families to visit the island,” said John Grigoras, deputy manager sales and marketing of Spyrou Philoxenia.

“Familiarization trips are a priority for us, as they help sales representatives get a better understanding of the destination and its offerings, thus provide detailed information to their customers,” he added.

The trip included visits to the island’s main sites of interest, including the chapel of Aghios Ioannis of Kastri, which is internationally known as the setting of the Hollywood film “Mamma Mia!”; the picturesque towns and villages of Skopelos; the idyllic beaches of “Ammos Paralia” in Elios – Neo Klima, an organized sandy beach managed by Spyrou Philoxenia, Chovolo and Panormos.
