According to AIA, the outcome was formulated by the growth of both domestic and international markets that enjoyed an increase of four percent and 9.8 percent, respectively. Overall, during the January-September period, the airport’s passenger traffic reached 16.8 million, exceeding prior-year levels by a robust 8.1 percent. AIA said the rise was attributed to the sharp increase of the international market by 11.5 percent, while the domestic market rose by 1.9 percent.
