The donation took place in collaboration with the “Pediatric Trauma Care” association. According to the Sani-Ikos Group, the new diagnostic and interventional machinery will support the hospital’s pediatricians and staff in their efforts to provide immediate care to patients and confront emergencies requiring the patient’s transfer to Athens or Thessaloniki. Eleni Andreadi, director of sustainability at Sani Resort – Ikos Resorts. “Our philosophy is that a company’s progress should coincide with its social contribution,” Eleni Andreadi, director of sustainability at Sani-Ikos, underlined. “Our social responsibility programs and sponsorship activities aim at supporting vulnerable sectors, such as the healthcare sector, and contributing as much as we can in building a better tomorrow for the citizens of the area, where the company is currently present,” she added. The president of the “Pediatric Trauma Care” association Natasha Clive Vrecossis thanked Sani-Ikos and also underlined the vital importance of the donation for Halkidiki’s residents and thousands of visitors.
