The International Medical Travel Journal (IMTJ) together with Greece’s medical tourism council Elitour will be organizing the 2018 IMTJ Medical Travel Summit to be held on May 21-24, 2018, at the five-star Wyndham Grand Athens.

Organizers are excited to be holding the event in “one of the world’s oldest cities, a center for the arts, learning and philosophy… and home of Hippocrates, the ‘Father of Modern Medicine’”.

Senior policy-makers, opinion leaders and medical tourism professionals will be attending the high level meeting to explore healthcare challenges including insurance, accreditation, marketing and promotion, quality, patient safety, levels of care and experience in treating international patients.

Events will include conferences, congresses and workshops on such diverse issues including the state of the market, technology in medical tourism, measuring medical travel, delivering outstanding international patient experience, ethical, legal and regulatory aspects of medical travel, holiday dialysis, cross border reproductive care, cosmetic surgery tourism and medical spa/wellness/thermal treatments.

Established in 2013, Elitour is an Athens-based non-governmental organization promoting Greece as an upcoming medical tourism destination through its participation in major international conferences and via cooperation with respective bodies abroad.

Argo Travel Group is the official travel coordinator and partner for the 2018 IMTJ Medical Travel Summit and awards. For more information or to book visit https://summit.imtj.com/book-place/
