Hospitality Expert Horwath HTL Enters Greek Tourism Market

International hospitality consulting company Horwath HTL recently entered the Greek tourism market through a partnership with Octane Management Consultants.

The two companies will aim to contribute to the development of the Greek tourism sector, by offering professionals their expertise and services on a number of  issues, including regional tourism; thematic tourism; innovation; restructure of hospitality units; attraction and support of investors among others.

“Horwath’s specialized international experience and Octane’s knowledge of the domestic market establish both companies as valuable partners to support clients, enterprises and investors in creating added value to their tourism activities,” said Yanni Spyropoulos, CEO of Octane, during a recent event held in Athens to mark the launch of Horwath’s activities to Greece.

Over 50 executives of the Greek tourism industry attended the event, while speakers included James Chappell, CEO and global business director of Horwath HTL; Heinz Wehrle, managing partner of Horwath HTL Switzerland and Christos Michaelides CEO of Horwath HTL Cyprus and chairman of the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation.

Horwath HTL counts more than 100 years of operation and is currently present in 38 countries around the globe with 45 specialized offices. The company has completed more than 16,000 projects for international tourism authorities, investors, hotel groups and tourism enterprises.

Since its establishment in 2007, Octane Management Consultants has completed more than 300 consulting projects in the Greek market in tourism and other sectors.
