Zela Aviation Bolsters Cyprus Team with Two Key Appointments

Air charter broker company Zela Aviation has announced the appointment of Nikolay Panov and Andrew Christoforides to its team in Cyprus.

Both Nikolay and Andrew will focus on ACMI activity, aircraft sales as well as aircraft remarketing.

“The wealth of experience and industry knowledge of Nikolay and Andrew has already made them key additions to the Zela family… I am confident that they will both play a significant role in providing high-quality services for our clients ,” Zela Aviation owner Andreas Christodoulides said.

Fluent in Bulgarian, English and German Nikolay Panov joins Zela Aviation with over 10 years of experience in the aviation industry, having worked in charter flight sales, as station manager and with experience in the cargo industry. He previously served as the sales and operation manager of a Bulgarian cargo airline.

Nikolay also worked on route and schedule planning and successfully contracted various ad-hoc cargo charter flights. Prior to this, Nikolay worked in the ACMI charter department of  a national carrier. He has also collaborated with top tour operators around Europe, building up strong connections within the industry.

Andrew Christoforides

Andrew Christoforides

Andrew Christoforides moved to Limassol, Cyprus from Doha, Qatar. He studied Aerospace Engineering at Brunel University in London and proceeded into a master’s degree on Air Transport Management at Cranfield University in the UK.

Passionate about aviation, he directly joined Qatar Airways and two years later he decided to undertake a new challenge and join Zela Aviation as an aircraft broker. Andrew is currently specializing in ACMI and aircraft sales.
