She met with Viotia MP Nikolaos Thivaios, Karditsa MP Chrysoula Katsavria-Sioropoulou, Ilia MP Makis Balaouras and Kavala MP Dimitris Emmanouilidis

Kountoura and the MPs discussed tourism policy, destination development and management, winter season products, extending the tourism season through the inclusion of alternative tourism options as well as the organization of specialized events such as motorcycle tourism. Indicatively, last September, the town of Ioannina in Epirus, northern Greece, hosted bikers from across the globe during the Mototour of Nations 2017.

Meanwhile, Andreas Andreou, head of the Greek community of Taranto in Italy, invited Minister Kountoura to a special event to be organized by the Greek associations and communities to be held in Italy in December.
