The total size of the terminal will triple in comparison to today’s, reaching 7,185 m2. The plans presented by Zinell also include the construction of a new fire station, new Waste Water Treatment Plant and a new apron. Significant interventions for the improvement of services will also be implemented, including a 29 percent increase in Check-in desks and a 50 percent increase in security lanes. Fraport Greece is expected to begin works immediately at the ‘Odysseas Elytis’ airport. Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
