Company updates Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens Aiming for Spring 2018 Opening by GTP editing team 8 November 2017 written by GTP editing team 8 November 2017 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 21 Photo Source: Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Another tourism project dogged by delays, the multi-million-euro revamp of the historic Astir Palace in the coastal suburb of Vouliagmeni, will proceed according to schedule with plans to open its doors to the public in spring next year, the Athens News Agency (AMNA) reports citing a company executive. According to AMNA, the hotel will officially open in spring 2018 and debut as Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens bringing the Four Seasons brand to Greece for the first time. The investing entities – Jermyn Street Real Estate Fund IV LP and Apollo Investment – will pour over 100 million euros into the project which will include 300 rooms, suites and exclusive bungalows, spa and leisure facilities, state-of-the-art conference center and event venues, a park and an upgraded marina. The tourism project’s investment plan and environmental impact study were recently approved by Culture Minister Lydia Koniordou.
