During a meeting earlier this week, the two men agreed to the establishment of a special committee that will examine and promote investor interest with the aim to further strengthen Greece-US ties and foster collaborations between the two countries. The body, which will convene twice a month, will be run under the Greek economy ministry and the US Department of Commerce. Papadimitriou and Pyatt are scheduled to visit the US in December within the context of the newly set-up investment committee. The two countries are already partners in economy and trade, education, science and innovation and humanitarian response, among others.
