During the event, scheduled to take place on December 1 at the Athinais multi-purpose venue in Athens, FORTHcrs will present the latest trends in the digitalization of services in the reservation and ticketing procedures in the ferry industry, intermodal transport and tourism. Α subsidiary of telecommunications provider Forthnet SA, FORTHcrs SA is a leading Greek e-tourism solution provider, specializing in electronic reservation services and ticketing systems for the coastal shipping industry in Greece and abroad. During the event and in specially-designed stands, FORTHcrs representatives will present innovative solutions and the latest developments in the areas of ferry reservations and ticketing. Furthermore, participants will have the opportunity to discuss with the company’s executives and attend their presentations on significant issues, regarding today’s travel agencies and their position in the tourism industry. The event is organized for the second consecutive year. FORTHcrs currently offers its services to more than 70 coastal shipping companies, manages more than 90,000 itineraries and collaborates with more than 7,000 travel agencies (online travel agencies included) in Greece and abroad. Moreover, the company collaborates with intercity bus companies, hospitality enterprises and entertainment production companies. For the past two year, FORTHcrs has been operating a subsidiary in Italy, in efforts to enhance its international activities.
