According to data relased by AIA, the domestic sector experienced a small decline of 1.4 percent, mainly due to capacity reduction in specific domestic routes, while the international market enjoyed a sharp increase of 14.6 percent. Overall, during the January-November 2017 period, the airport’s passenger traffic reached 20.3 million, exceeding prior-year levels by a robust 8.8 percent, with the international sector growing by 12 percent and the domestic market by 3.1 percent.
