The Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) recently showed its support for the people of Mandra in western Attica, which was ravaged last month by floods that destroyed homes and possessions.

The confederation on Friday donated 330 new beds to residents to meet their immediate needs, while another 330 will follow.

“This is solidarity in practice,” SETE President Yiannis Retsos said via social media on Saturday.

“SETE stands next to the inhabitants of Mandra in Attica and yesterday delivered 330 new beds to meet immediate needs. By the end of January we will reach 600. We are present where needed. With care and respect for the victims.”
