Company updates Hilton Athens’ ‘Aethrion’ Combines Fine Tastes and Art by GTP editing team 15 January 2018 written by GTP editing team 15 January 2018 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 41 Hilton Athens‘ all-day coffee and lounge bar Aethrion has reopened to provide its guests with a unique experience, combining unique flavors and art. Through its partnership with The Breeder gallery, Aethrion has launched a new project titled, “The Breeder x Hilton”, and recently presented an exhibition of artist Alexandros Vasmoulakis. A graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts and of the VSUP Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, Vasmoulakis presents a non-descriptive form of painting with vague boundaries. Through his art he constantly illustrates an ambiguous boundary between the tangible and the non-tangible, the figure and its absence, fiction and reality. While embracing art, “Aethrion is the ideal place for a coffee, drink or light lunch after work,” Hilton Athens said in an announcement. Start your day with a coffee from Colombia or Ethiopia or high-quality tea and beverages made of Greek herbs. Taste its unique open sandwiches or salads during your lunch break. Relax after a long day with a glass of wine from Aethrion’s long list, served with the Coravin system, which preserves the wine that remains in the bottle. Choose from a large variety of cheeses or cold cuts, including jamon Serrano, pata negra, reblochon and “krasotyri” a cheese made with wine from Kos. Allow yourself to indulge in luxury with the tastes of salmon balik and foies gras torchon. Alexandros Vasmoulakis’ exhibition will be open until February 28, while Aethrion is open daily from 9 am to 10 pm.
