Greece’s HATTA Travel Agents Body Marks 90 Years of Action

The Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA) celebrated nine decades of action on Tuesday, during a special event at the NJV Athens Plaza hotel in Athens.

One of the country’s oldest tourism organizations founded in 1927, HATTA has through its 90 years of operation supported the sector and played a leading role in its development.

For the first time in these nine decades, 19 member travel agencies as well as influencers were honored for their contribution with the aim to recognize their decisive role as well as provide them with the opportunity to share their experiences during the special ceremony.

Travel agencies honored were: Andy’s Tours, Argo Travel, Atlantis Travel, Concepts, Damigos Tours, Epirotiki Line, Europe Travel, Goldair Tours, Hellenic Tours, Hermes en Grece, Hetco Tours, Horizon Travel, La Greca Travel, Marathon, Navigator Travel, Pausanias and Siva Travel as well as colleagues N. Balaskas and Andreas Reis.

“Today we have awarded our members who have developed a strong and timeless dynamic, and it is on the back of this momentum that we continue the hard work for the future of Greek tourism which has great potential,” said HATTA board member, Lysandros Tsilidis.

On the occasion of the commemorative event, for the 27^th year HATTA awarded members for the best tourism & travel publications and sites, among them: Alternative Athens, Argo Travel, Athens Insiders, Athens Open Tour, Athens Walking Tours, City Sightseeing, Cosmorama, Cruiseway Travel, CTS Corfu, DNA Travel, Drakakis Tours, Electron Travel, Fenix Tours, Ginis Vacances, Greekin Me, Grefis Travel, Himalaya Travel, Imagination Travel, Kitsakis Tours, Kyvernitis Travel, Manessis, Meteora Thrones, Milos Adventures, Mouzenidis, Navigator Travel, Pandora Holidays, Pyramis Int’l Travel, Scooterise, Sights of Athens, Siva Travel, Tour Olympic, Travel Company, Versus Travel, Vins Oinotourism Events and Κanon.
