Event News WTM Latin America: Greek Companies Participate in New ‘Destination Pavilions’ Section by GTP editing team 23 January 2018 written by GTP editing team 23 January 2018 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 10 The layout of the ‘Destination Pavilions’ section. WTM Latin America, the leading global event for the travel industry in Latin America, has launched the “Destination Pavilions” section, an exclusive area designed for companies that do not have stands from their own countries at the event. The goal is to enable private companies from destinations that are not represented at the event to mark their presence in the 6th WTM Latin America edition, which will run April 3-5 at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo. Companies from the markets Greece, United Kingdom, Portugal, South Africa, Canada, Germany and France have already confirmed their participation. “Partnerships established with associations and departments from these destinations are fundamental for guaranteeing the presence of companies,” adds Luciane Leite, director of WTM Latin America. Companies exhibiting at the “Destination Pavilions” will be guaranteed the same rights and benefits as other exhibitors at WTM Latin America. In addition to the area that is already equipped to receive new exhibitors, the stand will have a backlit panel, where company’s brand can be displayed. The brand will also be included in the Official Catalogue, which is distributed to all participants of the event. Other privileges also include access to the My Event platform, which enables the brand to promote its products and services by sending targeted messages and pre-scheduling meetings, and Speed Networking events that bring together more than 500 exhibitors and up to 100 buyers ( buyers) during five-minute meetings. The new pavilions help expand the opportunities available to small and medium-sized companies that still have limited resources to invest in a major event such as WTM Latin America, and also want to boost their business and present their innovative and differentiated solutions to the market. “Offering the opportunity for start-ups to attend a world-renowned event aggregates to the market as a whole as well as to entrepreneurs” added Leite.
