In its 17th year, the East Med Yacht Show aims to promote quality sea tourism, upgrade services offered by pleasure boats, improve Greece’s position on the global tourism market, establish the port city of Piraeus as an international tourism destination, launch partnerships with foreign institutions and expand cooperation with other Greek stakeholders active in tourism. The event will be held under the organization of the Hellenic Professional Yacht Owners Association (EPEST), the Hellenic Yacht Brokers Association (HYBA), the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA) and the Greek Professional Yacht Owners Bareboat Association (SITESAP). The event planner of the 17th East Med Yacht Show 2018 is Trinity Events & Trinity Travel. For four days, over 80 craft — including motor yachts, sailing yachts, catamarans and bareboats — available for hire and for sale in the Greek market, will be on display in the Zea Marina for industry professionals to inspect. Members of the Hellenic Professional Yacht Owners Association (EPEST) and the Greek Professional Yacht Owners Bareboat Association (SITESAP) will have the opportunity to present their yachts to yacht brokers and tour operators from the United States, Europe, China, the Arab countries and Russia. This section of the East Med Yacht Show 2018 is strictly for professionals. The East Med Yacht Show will also include 50 stands manned by Greek chartering companies, travel agents and shipbrokers, as well as businesses providing services in marine tourism, to promote their products and services to the general public. According to the organizers, the East Med Yacht Show 2018 is expected to attract some 5,000 experts and yachting lovers.
