Out of the Blue Resort Celebrates 40 Years in Greek Hospitality Industry

The Out of the Blue, Capsis Elite Resort, located on Crete, is celebrating 40 years of excellence and innovation in the Greek hospitality industry with a campaign focusing on is history and vision for the future.

According to an announcement, several activities and events will be taking place througout the 2018 season, within the resort’s premises and beyond.

The Out of the Blue, Capsis Elite Resort is a five-star deluxe hotel complex, which opened its doors in 1978, on a 168,000 m2 private peninsula situated next to the Aghia Pelaghia village, near Heraklio on Crete. “Being the first resort in Greece to embrace the ‘meetings and incentives’ concept…  the hotel has over the years hosted many major international events, meetings and press conferences, such as the ‘Balkan Countries Chiefs of Defense Meeting’,” an announcement said.

Following an extensive renovation program in 2007, with respect to the surrounding environment, the resort has been transformed into a hotel collection consisting of multiple maisonettes and bungalows.

Out of the Blue, Capsis Elite Resort today is focusing on the needs of its VIP guests and their families, offering wellness services, hosting weddings, also being a honeymoon destination. Furthermore, it provides congress services with 13 available venues.

“Our devotion to offering excellent experiences has led us to create outstanding services and activities such as the 4,000 m2 Minoan Kids Club, our award-winning wellness and rejuvenating spa and, most recently, three exciting escape rooms, which have made us the first resort in the world to offer such an activity. Throughout the years, one thing has remained the same: Our passion to offer an amazing experience and outstanding five-star service and hospitality,” the resort said.
