SETE Training, the educational and vocational training pillar of the SETE Institute (InSETE), has launched a strategic partnership with Lausanne Hospitality Consulting (LHC) and will hold three specialized training seminars for Greek hospitality professionals on Food & Beverage and Revenue Management. LHC is a consulting and executive education subsidiary of Swiss university Ecole Hòtelière de Lausanne (EHL).

Value Creation in the Food Service Industry” is the title of two seminars that will take place in Athens from February 26 to March 1 and in Heraklion, Crete, during March 19-22. The seminar will focus on issues related to cost control strategies, menu creation and costing techniques.

The keynote speaker at both seminars will be Alain Najar, EHL alumni, who has travelled around the world (Kuwait, Dubai, Madagascar, Syria, Egypt) for 13 years and worked for major international hotel chains, including the Hilton, Sheraton and Accor. His area of expertise includes food & beverage management, cost control, quality management, quality and service design and customer experience.

SETE Training will also hold a seminar that will focus on “Maximizing Revenue and Managing Distribution” and take place in Athens from February 27 to March 2. Participants will be informed on topics such as pricing strategies and hotel distribution strategies.

Horatiu Tudori, a senior faculty member of EHL, will be the seminar’s keynote speaker. Tudori has been specializing in Revenue Management since 1999 and he is teaching this course for the Bachelor’s and the EMBA programs.

All seminars will be delivered in English.
