EasyJet: New Routes from Corfu and Kefallonia to Berlin for Summer 2018

EasyJet has announced that it will launch new routes connecting the Ionian islands of Corfu and Kefallonia with Tegel Airport in Berlin for the upcoming summer season.

According to an announcement, the airline aims to offer Greek travelers with more options and affordable tickets when traveling to Germany, as well as German tourists the opportunity to visit the islands of the Ionian sea.

“We expect a ‘record summer’ this year with more than 5,500 flights and more than 1 million seats on sale from/to Greece for July and August 2018,” said easyJet managing director Thomas Haagensen.

The airline will connect Corfu and Berlin with two weekly flights every Wednesday and Sunday, staring on August 1, 2018. Furthermore, as of August 3, it will link Kefallonia to Berlin with two weekly flights, every Monday and Friday.

The carrier has announced a total of 23 new itineraries from/to Berlin’s Tegel Airport and will offer more than 3.8 million seats on sale from March 25 until October 2018.

From the Tegel and Schönefeld airports, EasyJet is currently flying to a total of 95 destinations.
