Spyrou Philoxenia, a Greek hotel management and consulting company, is getting ready to attend leading tourism exhibitions in Serbia and Germany, following its successful participation in the 24th International Mediterranean Tourism Market – IMTM 2018 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The company participated in IMTM 2018 as a co-exhibitor of the Region of Thessaly and presented the hotels of the Spyrou group located on the island of Skopelos, as well as its collection of lodgings in some of Greece’s most unique locations.

According to Spyrou Philoxenia, Greece has a unique opportunity to conquer the lucrative market of Israel.

“The economy of Israel, with a population of 8.5 million, is on the rise. With an annual income of $35,000, Israeli citizens are willing to travel and create life experiences,” said Giorgos Michalis, general manager of Spyrou Hotels and Spyrou Philoxenia.

During the thee-day event, Greece’s stand drew the attention of participants and attendees. “The group’s hotels attracted the interest of visitors, who seek alternative forms of tourism, 12 months a year,” Michalis said.

Next stops: ITTFA and ITB Berlin

Spyrou Hotels and Spyrou Philoxenia will also participate in the International Fair of Tourism (ITTFA) – Sajam Turizma, which will take place between February 22-25 in Belgrade.

Next month, the group’s executives will travel to Berlin to attend the ITB Berlin international tourism fair, which will be held between March 7-10.

With a presence of 40 years in the Greek tourism market, Spyrou Philoxenia aims to meet the needs of demanding travelers and serve hoteliers, who seek to improve their hospitality services and maximize profitability.
