The Aktina Travel Group is among Greece’s 200 most dynamic enterprises that have been shortlisted for the Growth Awards 2018, organized for the second year by Eurobank and Grand Thornton.

Aktina Travel GroupRewarding excellence and competitiveness in entrepreneurship and based on Grant Thornton’s “Financial Growth/Health Matrix” evaluation model, the Growth Awards has now entered its third and final phase. The 200 finalists were selected among 8,000 nominees and were presented during a ceremony recently held at the Megaron-Athens Concert Hall in the presence of 2,000 guests.

“We are very satisfied that our effort to focus on high-quality travel services and our continuous development is recognized by Greece’s business sector and academia. Our commitment is to continue working with passion and consistency, also honoring the values and vision of our group,” said Aktina Travel vice president Andromachi Zerzivili.

The Aktina Travel Group is one of Greece’s leading travel organizations with more than 40 years of experience.

Six enterprises will be awarded in the Growth Awards finals later this year for their operational improvement; market and product development; human resources and corporate culture; investments and corporate social responsibility initiatives. The evaluation process is also based on special analysis of the companies’ main financial figures and indexes.

The 17-member judging committee is chaired by Eurobank president Nikolaos Karamouzis and Grant Thornton CEO Vasilis Kazas, and includes prominent personalities of the tourism sector including Andreas Andreadis, honorary president of the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE); Eftichios Vasilakis, vice president of Aegean Airlines; Achilles Constantakopoulos president of TEMES, the developer of Costa Navarino and Yiannis Retsos, president of SETE.
