The company’s agenda this month includes hiking in Parnitha on February 18 and canyoning at the Mills gorge near Alepohori on February 23. On March 11, Extreme Tours will organize a rafting experience at the Lousio Lake in the Peloponnese. “Canyoning is ideal for those who want to get a small taste of the beautiful nature of Greece and we offer the perfect combination of hiking in the gorges and discovering the lush, dense vegetation of the Greek mountains and countryside. It’s truly amazing how the beauty of the canyons always creates images of the alpine sites to the visitors’ imagination,” Extreme Tours said in an announcement. Participants can also experience rappelling down Greek waterfalls ranging in height from 4 to 30 meters and exploring the morphology of the gorges while admiring their narrow and high walls and understanding how they were created through time. As for the water lovers, canyoning can as well be combined with natural pools and fun water jumps. Extreme Tours organizes rafting experiences at the renowned rivers of Arcadia and Karpenisi. “Also, our friends will have the opportunity to visit the Greek coastline and enjoy the crystal-blue waters through sea kayaking in beautiful solitary areas and hidden picturesque beaches,” Extreme Tours said.
