The Region’s stand, organized by the regional unit of Chania, will present the island’s tourism offerings and its potential for the development of alternative travel and activities in the mountainous areas and on the coasts of Crete. Focusing on alternative forms of tourism, f.re.e will offer information in seven thematic areas: travel, cruises and boat trips, caravanning and camping, water sports, health and wellness, outdoor activities and cycling. This year around 1,300 exhibitors from around the world will present their travel and leisure products at the Messe Munchen Center, which among other venues will include six theme stages and areas for activities with bike trails, climbing towers and a diving pool. In 2017 135,000 visited the fair, while in 2016 the number of visitors reached 122,000. Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
