Starting in April, the foundation will be hosting coaching sessions five days a week for boys and girls of all abilities aged 4 to 16. “The young people visiting the Sani Resort will have the opportunity to take part in fun and exciting sessions with our foundation coaches,” the head of the Chelsea Foundation, Simon Taylor, said in an announcement. The Chelsea Foundation is committed to developing the game across all levels and ages, and this new opportunity follows the arrival of a newly-constructed UEFA-approved football pitch and state-of-the-art club house at the resort. “The young players are going to have a great time training with professional coaches and playing on fantastic facilities, learning new skills and making new friends,” Taylor added. The Chelsea Foundation’s dedicated coaches all hold valid DBS, FA Coaching, Safeguarding Children and First Aid certificates to ensure the highest levels of both coaching and safety. All soccer schools are also dedicated to promoting the Chelsea Foundation’s values of fair play, respect and discipline as well as encouraging team play and developing social skills. Sani Resort The Sani Resort is situated in an area of more than 1,000 acres of fragrant pine forest, olive groves and sandy beaches. It includes five hotels and a yacht marina and it is offering a wide range of leisure and accommodation facilities.
