As part of its efforts to attract domestic and foreign travelers, the Saronic Municipality recently launched a new promotional video, which highlights the area’s natural beauty, everyday life and tourism offerings.

Titled “The Excursion”, the video is the first of a series of promotional videos that the municipality is planning to launch in order to showcase all sides of the destination’s tourism features.

“The creation of this first video is one more step in our effort to promote our region’s tourism product, through an integrated strategy, effective tools, a modern approach and aesthetics,” Saronic Mayor Giorgos Sofronis underlined.

In an announcement, the municipality underlined that through the video “…a new tourism identity is born and travels through the eyes of young people…. who experience all the unique emotions a truly wonderful place can offer its visitors… that is so close to the capital, Athens. The video shows in a beautiful and distinctive way the joy, pleasure, tradition, simplicity and unparalleled natural beauty of the area”.

Apart from the film crew and actors, Saronic residents and members of local associations also supported the initiative by co-starring in the video.

The Saronic Municipality includes the towns of Kalyvia, Anavyssos, Saronida, Palea Fokea and Kouvaras. The Saronic Gulf includes the islands of Egina, Salamina, Poros, Patroklos and Fleves.
