Cyprus-based TUS Airways has announced that it will begin operating four flights per week to Thessaloniki, Greece, from Larnaca, as of late March.

“Cypriot travelers will now be able to visit Greece’s second biggest city — the historic and beautiful Thessaloniki — while enjoying the excellent travel experience of highly convenient flight times, supreme comfort and expert service that TUS Airways offers,” the airline said in an announcement.

The new route will launch at the end of March and flights will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. TUS’ scheduled flight will depart from Thessaloniki at 10:50 am on Mondays, at 8 pm on Wednesdays, at 9:50 pm on Fridays and at 1:30 pm on Saturdays. In-flight services will include a meal, soft/hot drinks and hand baggage up to 8kg. Tickets are now available for booking through the travel agencies or company’s website.

The airline currently operates flights from Larnaca to the destinations of Athens, Ioannina and Rome. Flights to Alexandroupolis will operate from March 27.

TUS’ fleet currently consists of two Fokker 100 with a capacity of 100 seats and four Fokker 70 with a capacity of 80 seats.

According to TUs, its philosophy is based on “Τhe Ultimate Schedule”, a model which aims to connect Cyprus and Greece with countries in the Eastern Mediterranean and Europe via frequent flights, offering comfort, convenience and competitive pricing, as well as best service on board.

TUS Airways has its main base at Larnaca International Airport and plans to operate flights to 16 various destinations in 2018.
