Kyvernitis Travel will now harness the new Sabre Red Workspace to shop, book and manage travel for customers. “In choosing to use Sabre’s technologies, Kyvernitis Travel will benefit from its professional expertise to access new data and insights that will help us improve our service and provide clients with the best travel options at the best prices to suit their needs,” said George Kyvernitis, CEO Kyvernitis Travel. Sabre’s travel agency platform was developed to help travel agencies delight the new, more empowered traveler who increasingly wants personalization, choice and the ability to unbundle every component of a ticket and dynamically re-bundle it to match their needs. The multi-year technology agreement will also give Kyvernitis Travel superior low fare search capabilities, air shopping, workflow efficiency tools and tailor-made solutions to support its quality control. “Our industry-leading technology will empower Kyvernitis Travel to focus its efforts on providing an increasingly personalised experience for its customers, tailored towards a wide variety of travel needs,” said Andreas Syrigos, regional director of Sabre in Greece and Cyprus. Sabre expects to play a key role in helping Kyvernitis Travel maximize productivity and achieve its growth objectives. The new Sabre Red workspace was developed to meet the changing needs and expectations of travelers with Dev Studio APIs – which provide market data, fare trend information, travel seasonality and alternative airports – integrated into the platform. These APIs are then displayed in a new Decision Support Bar, which Kyvernitis Travel will use to offer advanced information and choices to its customers.
