Civitel Earth Hour 2018

The member hotels of the Civitel Hotels & Resorts group — Olympic, Attik and Creta Beach — are participating in the Earth Hour 2018 initiative against climate change. Earth Hour is a global environmental event by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

On Saturday, March 24, from 8:30pm to 9:30pm, the three hotels will switch off their non–essential exterior lights and use candlelight in lobbies and restaurants – bars.

A special candlelight dinner — the “Earth Menu” — designed by the hotel group’s executive chef Kostas Georgantzas, will be offered in Civitel Olympic’s and Civitel Attik’s restaurants along with Happy Hour on drinks (2 for 1) and amuse-bouches. At Civitel Creta Beach guests will also enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner with welcome drinks, as well.

Hotel guests in the three hotels will be given the opportunity to participate, by switching off or dimming their in-room lighting.

“Civitel Hotels & Resorts group participation in Earth Hour symbolizes our commitment to reduce our environmental impact and reinforces our dedication to design-led sustainable construction and operational excellence that also enhances our guests’ experience,” the group said in an announcement.
