Mouzenidis Travel has been named official partner of the Greece-Russia Year of Tourism 2017-2018 after signing a relevant agreement last week in Moscow. Attending the signing ceremony were Greek Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura, Russian Alternate Culture Minister Alla Manilova and Mouzenidis Group President Boris Mouzenidis. The Greece-Russia Year of Tourism, which kicked off in October and will run throughout 2018 with dozens of events, happenings and activities in the two countries, aims among others to identify new Greek destinations, promote theme-oriented products and expand demand through a stronger tourist flow from Russia to Greece. As part of the agreement, Mouzenidis Travel will launch a series of promotional activities and presentations on the Greece-Russia Year of Tourism 2017-2018 initiative including its logo on all Mouzenidis Travel promotional material. Mouzenidis Travel has been pivotal in enhancing travel between the two countries, creating opportunities for cultural exchange and facilitating visa procedures. Mouzenidis Group carrier Ellinair will handle travel throughout the Greece-Russia Tourism Year with direct flights from 15 Russian cities to nine Greek regions offering accommodation at its hotel chain Bomo Hotels.
