In its fifth year, the Tourism Awards rewarded the best practices of Greek companies and organizations in all sectors of travel, hospitality and leisure and applauded initiatives that encourage innovation and the quality of Greek tourism. “Success is to create dreams that people from all over the world want to live and keep as a life experience,” Caldera Yachting CEO Yiannis Mattheos said when receiving the award, also pointing out the significance of the distinction, which is a commitment but also a promise that the company will continue to create experiences for visitors of Santorini. Caldera Yachting CEO Yiannis Mattheos “This year’s honor of Caldera Yachting is significant, since it is ranked among the leading companies that provide services as valuable examples of innovation, and enrichment of the Greek tourism product,” he added. According to the president of the 30-member judging committee, Maya Tsoclis, the tourism awards reward the passion of some people for quality, innovation and healthy competition. “These are key components for achieving high goals set by Caldera Yachting and being motivated for its continuous effort for high quality services, but also initiatives that contribute effectively to the economic support of the destination in which it operates,” the company’s CEO said. This is the fourth consecutive year that Caldera Yachting is honored at the Tourism Awards. The company has already been awarded for two years in a row with the Gold Award in the “Customer Services” category, the Silver Award in the “Specialty Offering – sea tourism” category and the Bronze in “Strategy and Innovation – Initiatives to extend the tourist season”. In late 2017, the company was honored as “Charter Company of the Year – Global Award Winner 2017” at the Luxury Travel Guide Awards in London. The Tourism Awards 2018 was organized by Boussias Communications and held under the auspices of the Tourism Ministry.
