Enjoying the trust of over 950,000 travelers each year for its certified safety standards and top quality, tourism transport services provider Maroulis Travel SA celebrates 40 years of experience and active presence in Greek tourism.

Established in 1977 by Vassilis and Spiros Maroulis, Maroulis Travel has throughout four decades played a significant role in the country’s tourism development by ensuring the safest transportation of millions of visitors each year, while emerging as one of the strongest transportation and coaching brands in the country.

“Maroulis Travel was founded in 1977… at a time when Greece was building its tourist product in very quick steps. Since then, tourism in Greece has changed radically… modernized, evolving into a global power… together so have we,” said the company’s co-founder and manager Vassilis Maroulis.

Besides being the first passenger transport company in Greece to be certified by TÜV HELLAS (TUV NORD) for its road safety management system (RSMS), Maroulis Travel has been repeatedly awarded for its safety standards, its fleet and its VIP/luxury services.

“Today, 40 years later, we can say that we are one of the top choices in modern tourist transport. Our brand name is the most recognizable and powerful in the industry. We have worked hard to achieve this result, setting as our priority to serve consistently, offering the modern traveler excellent service and safety while boasting the newest and safest fleet in Southeastern Europe,” Maroulis added.

Besides being a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA) and the General Panhellenic Federation of Tourism Enterprises (GEPOET), Maroulis Travel has also been certified by ICAP Group.
