Tripadvisor’s awards this year honored 69 airlines that provide exceptional value and service across the globe. Air New Zealand ranked second on the list of the Top 10 Airlines in the World for 2018. Singapore Airlines came first, while Emirates ranked third. Furthermore, Air New Zealand topped the list of the Best Airlines in the region of South Pacific and Oceania, with Qantas in second position and Virgin Australia in third. The results were based on an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of airline reviews and ratings submitted by travelers worldwide on TripAdvisor Flights from February 2017 to February 2018. Photo Source: @Air New Zealand (Alan Gaskin) Air New Zealand’s Chief Marketing and Customer Officer Mike Tod said the accolades reflected the airline’s commitment to delivering an outstanding experience on the more than 16 million customer journeys it facilitates every year. “Listening to customer feedback is an important part of our strategy, and has helped us to deliver high quality products and a more seamless customer experience,” Tod underlined. The awards also honored the best airlines in four distinct service classes: International First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy. Air New Zealand collected honors for: – The Best Premium Economy Class in the World for the second consecutive year, – The Best Business Class in the South Pacific and Oceania, – The Best Premium Economy Class in the South Pacific and Oceania, – The Best Economy Class in the South Pacific and Oceania.
