Five hotels of the Sbokos Group on Crete recently received an exceptional high star rating and the special “Greek Breakfast” certification seal, an announcement by TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD), a leading certification and inspection agency in Greece, said on Wednesday. According to TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD) Vice President of Food and Director of Crete office, Uxue Azpiroz, the Sbokos Hotel Group’s commitment to offering continuous improvement is shown by the certification of management systems (quality, food safety and environmental management) it has achieved since 2002 as well as the certification of its equipment. The hotels of the Sbokos Group that received the high star rating and “Greek Breakfast” seal are Agapi Beach, Cretan Malia Park, Blue Palace, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Village Heights Golf Resort and Koutouloufari Village Holiday Club. The Greek breakfast offered at Sbokos’ five hotels feature Cretan local products and is part of the group’s operation philosophy that focuses on promoting the destination of Crete. “Management supports quality with ongoing investments to maintain and evolve the hotel facilities to remain at an excellent and modern level,” Sbokos Group General Director Babis Foskolakis said. “Our human resources are the most important part of our effort to maintain quality… The dedication of our people to share the same vision with management is the result of the close cooperation we have as well as the result of ongoing (tourism) education and training,” Foskolakis added.
