The 2018 Travelers’ Choice Awards for Airlines recognize excellence among air carriers from all over the world. The Doha-based airline was honored as “World’s Best Business Class” airline, “Best Business Class: Middle East” and ranked eighth on the “World’s Top 10 Airlines” list. “We were recognized for our world-class hospitality and outstanding quality of product by the valued TripAdvisor travel community, a significant testament of our passengers’ satisfaction in their travel experience with us,” said Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker. Qatar Airways was also recognized as a Travelers’ Choice Winner among “Regional Airlines in the Middle East” and was included among the best “Economy Class: Middle East” carriers. The Travelers’ Choice Awards are the only travel industry awards based on millions of reviews from travelers around the world, reflecting “the best of the best” for service, quality, and customer satisfaction. The 2018 TripAdvisor awards have been added to the growing number of esteemed accolades, Qatar Airways has received since the beginning of the year. Last month the carrier received a number of Apex Passenger Choice accolades by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (Apex). Moreover, the airline has been named “Best Regional Middle East/Africa Airline” by Money magazine’s 2018 Best in Travel awards for the second consecutive year. In 2017 Qatar Airways received more than 50 awards across multiple categories, including “Airline of the Year” by the prestigious 2017 Skytrax World Airline Awards. One of the world’s fastest-growing airlines, Qatar Airways recently revealed a number of forthcoming global destinations for 2018-19 including Mykonos, Greece; London Gatwick and Cardiff, UK; Tallinn, Estonia; Valletta, Malta; Cebu and Davao, Philippines; Langkawi, Malaysia; Da Nang, Vietnam; Bodrum and Antalya, Turkey and Málaga, Spain.
